The process, end to end
Opening an account and attaching it to the PAMM.
Thirteen steps from first enquiry to a live allocation. Everything after step one happens inside the broker's own systems, in your name.
Opens on vantagemarkets.com in a new tab. The account is opened in your name, with the broker, using our introducing link — see how we are paid.

02The steps
From first enquiry to a live allocation.
Steps two through thirteen happen inside the broker’s systems. We are not a party to any of them.
The screens below are Vantage’s own, taken from their investor guide rather than redrawn. The full document is downloadable below if you would rather check them at source.
Step 1. Start an enquiry with us first
A reply comes from info@mm-forex.com within one business day, with the current terms and whether investors in your country can be onboarded at all.
Ask anything you want settled before you commit — the terms, the markets we trade, or how we are paid. The fees page sets out the cost in full.
You cannot reach the PAMM without us. Vantage runs no public PAMM accounts. Every one is private, and the only way in is the offer link a manager sends you — which is step six here.
ShowsThe enquiry form on this site. Five fields, two of them optional, and one box to tick. NoteThe details shown are a sample, not a real enquiry.
Confirmed ·Nothing on this site opens an account. The route to the PAMM runs through a conversation.
Step 2. Register a live account at Vantage
You register directly with the broker, not with us, using our account-opening link. You will be asked for:
- Country of residence, email and a password
- Referred By — our introducing-broker code, 24007960
- Whether you are registering as an individual, a company or a trust
- Name, date of birth and address, at the verification step that follows
Put the code in. Our link fills the field in for you, but if you arrive at the form any other way — a bookmark, a phone, a search result — the field will be blank, and an account registered without it is not attached to us. Vantage cannot move it afterwards on request.
You are also classified here, as a retail or wholesale client, from your trading experience and financial position. That classification sets the leverage cap on the account and whether the broker’s complaints process is open to you. It is confirmed with the broker before you fund.
ShowsVantage's registration form. The ‘Referred By’ field is the one that matters. Confirmed ·Confirmed against Vantage's own investor guide, section 1.1. Existing Vantage clients skip this step and go straight to step four.
Step 3. Verify your identity
After registering you land in the Client Portal. Verification runs in three levels, and all three have to be cleared:
- Level 1 — personal details. Completing your profile alone lets you trade live but caps you at $5,000, which is the minimum here, so this level is not enough on its own.
- Level 2 — identity. Your passport, national ID or driving licence.
- Level 3 — residency address. A utility bill or bank statement from the last three months.
Approval usually takes one to two business days. A rejected document is almost always a name or address that does not match the registration, or one older than the accepted window — re-upload rather than re-register.
ShowsThe three levels in the client portal. Level 1 alone caps you at $5,000, so all three have to be cleared. ShowsThe personal details form behind ‘Verify Now’. Confirmed ·The three verification levels are Vantage's, confirmed from their guide, section 1.1. How long each takes is theirs and varies by country.
Step 4. Open a PAMM Investor account
A PAMM Investor account is opened from Accounts → Open Account in the Client Portal. Pick Live Account, then the trading platform, then the account currency.
The platform has to match ours. A PAMM Investor account can only join a master account on the same platform. Ours is MetaTrader 5, so open an MT5 account. An MT4 investor account cannot be joined to an MT5 master, and the mistake is only visible at step six, when the server you need is not in the list.
Set the currency to USD. If it differs from your own you carry a currency exposure alongside the trading result, which can work against you even in a profitable period.
Vantage emails the login, password and server for the new account once it is approved. Keep them — step six asks for them.
ShowsClient Portal → Accounts → Open Account. ShowsThe platform dropdown. Choose MetaTrader 5 — the currency below it should read USD. Confirmed ·Confirmed from Vantage's guide, section 1.2. This is a separate account from any ordinary trading account you may already hold.
Step 5. Fund the account in the Client Portal
Money reaches the PAMM in two hops, and this is the first: cash into the PAMM Investor account at the broker. From the Client Portal, Funds → Deposit, select the PAMM account from the menu, enter the amount, and Continue.
The minimum investment is $5,000. Deposit, conversion and transfer charges are yours, and are separate from the performance fee.
This does not put your money in the PAMM. It puts it in an account at the broker that is capable of joining one. The second hop is the next step, and until it completes the money is sitting idle, not being traded.
ShowsThe PAMM investor account card, with its own Deposit button. Check the card says ‘PAMM investor’ before you fund it. Being confirmed ·The route is confirmed. Accepted funding methods, processing times and minimum increments are Vantage's and are being confirmed for your country.
Step 6. Join the offer using the link we send you
We send you an offer link. It opens the PAMM Investor Registration page, which looks like this: https://pamm.vantagemarkets.com/app/join/…
Four fields, in order:
- Server — the MetaTrader server your PAMM Investor account sits on. It is printed on the account card in the Client Portal and in the email Vantage sent when the account was approved.
- Login and password — for the PAMM Investor account, not your Client Portal login. They are different credentials.
- Initial investment — at or above the minimum on the offer.
- The agreement — the terms of the PAMM service.
Read the offer panel before you tick the box. It shows the performance fee, the minimum deposit and withdrawal, and the trading interval — the rollover cadence — as they will actually apply to you. Check them against the fees page. If anything differs, stop and ask before confirming: the broker’s screen is the binding version, not this site.
Then Invest.
ShowsThe registration page the offer link opens. The manager is named at the top, the offer terms sit under it. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
ShowsWhere the server is written down: the account card in the Client Portal, next to the platform and account number. ShowsThe server dropdown on the join page. Pick the one printed on your account card — not the first in the list. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
ShowsThe form completed. ‘Invest’ stays greyed out until the agreement box is ticked. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
Confirmed ·Confirmed from Vantage's guide, section 2.2. The link is specific to the offer and is sent to you directly — it is not published here or anywhere else.
Step 7. We approve the request
Your join request lands in our portal and has to be approved within 72 hours. If it is not, Vantage refunds the money to your PAMM account automatically.
Requests cannot be approved at weekends. That is a platform restriction, not a working preference — the approve button does not function on Saturdays or Sundays. A Friday-evening request waits until Monday, and the 72 hours run regardless.
A refunded request is not a rejection and does not cost you anything. It does mean rejoining is treated as a second deposit, which goes through the portal rather than the link — step ten.
Once approved you get a confirmation email, and the PAMM Investor Portal opens to you.
ShowsWhat the request looks like from our side. Note the line about Saturdays and Sundays. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
Confirmed ·The 72-hour window, the automatic refund and the weekend restriction are Vantage's own, confirmed from their guide, sections 2.2 and 6.
Step 8. The mandate
The agreement you tick at step six is the platform’s terms of service. Separately, the authority we hold over the account is set out in a mandate.
You receive the full document to read before you sign it, and we will walk through any clause you want to question. Read it in full: what does it authorise, what does it exclude, who can move money out and to where, and how do you revoke it.
Nothing on this site tells you the manager cannot move your funds. That appears only once the document supports it.
Being confirmed ·The mandate terms are being confirmed. They will be quoted from the document rather than described, because what the manager may and may not do is the most important thing on this page.
Step 9. Log in to the PAMM Investor Portal
The PAMM Investor Portal is a separate system from the Client Portal, and which address answers depends on your server. The wrong host produces a failure that looks exactly like a wrong password.
- MT4 — Live 4 or 12 — https://pamm.vantagemarkets.com/app/auth/investor
- MT4 — Live 5, 7 or 11 — https://pamm4.vantagemarkets.com/app/auth/investor
- MT5 — https://pamm16.vantagemalay.com/app/auth/investor
Joining comes first. Logging in before a manager has approved you will not work, and it is the single most common thing people get stuck on. There is nothing to log in to until step seven completes.
ShowsThe portal login. Same credentials as the join step — server, MT account, password. Confirmed ·The three portal hosts are Vantage's, confirmed from their guide, section 2.2. Which one answers depends on your server.
Step 10. Adding to your investment later
The first deposit goes through the offer link. Every one after it goes through the portal, and the order matters:
- First, deposit into the PAMM Investor account in the Client Portal, exactly as at step five.
- Then, in the PAMM Investor Portal, click Deposit, enter the amount and confirm.
The deduction shows in your MT5 account immediately. The money only appears in the PAMM Investor Portal once we approve it — again within 72 hours, again not at weekends, and again refunded automatically if we miss the window.
ShowsDeposit, from inside the PAMM Investor Portal. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
ShowsThe amount, then confirm. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
Confirmed ·Confirmed from Vantage's guide, sections 2.3 and 6. The 72-hour window and the automatic refund apply to every deposit, not just the first.
Step 11. What you can see, and when
You will not see trades as they happen. We trade from a separate account, and the PAMM system synchronises with MetaTrader at each rollover rather than continuously. What arrives at each synchronisation is trading activity, profit distribution, fee payouts, money transfers and trading history.
Two places to look, both in the portal: History → Requests for anything submitted or pending, and History → Transactions for anything approved and completed.
Your balance is not visible anywhere else. Once you have joined, it does not show in MT5 or in the Vantage app — only in the PAMM Investor Portal. If the figure there differs slightly from your trading account, that is currency conversion between the two, not an error.
We also send a written summary at each rollover, so you have our figures and the broker’s side by side.
ShowsHistory → Requests: submitted and pending. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
ShowsHistory → Transactions: approved and completed. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
Confirmed ·Confirmed from Vantage's guide, sections 3 and 7. The reporting we send on top of the portal is ours, and its frequency and format are still being settled.
Step 12. How profit and loss is split
At each rollover, the result is split between investors and the manager in proportion to their share of the pool. Fees charged on the platform are treated the same way — as a profit or a loss to be distributed.
The distribution is incremental. What gets allocated at a rollover is the difference between a trade’s profit now and its profit at the previous rollover, so an open trade that moves against the pool distributes a loss even though it has not closed. The table shows a single trade doing exactly that at rollover three before recovering at four.
Within a settlement period every investor sees the same percentage result before fees, whatever they hold.
ShowsVantage's worked example: three investors at 20%, 30% and 50% of the pool, across four rollovers of a single trade. NoteIllustrative figures from Vantage's guide. They are not a projection, and the percentages are pool shares, not returns.
Confirmed ·The mechanism is Vantage's, confirmed from their guide, section 4. The example figures are theirs.
Step 13. Withdrawing or leaving
You can submit a withdrawal request at any time. Getting the money out takes four moves, and only the first is yours:
- Check Funds on the investment summary — that is what is available, and it is not the same number as Balance. Then Withdraw, the amount, submit.
- We approve it. Not at weekends, same as deposits.
- It settles at the next rollover, and the money moves to your PAMM Investor account in the Client Portal.
- You withdraw it from the Client Portal to your registered destination, on the broker’s own timetable.
The full end-to-end timetable is being confirmed with the broker. It is the line most often stated loosely in this industry, so it goes here only once Vantage confirms it end to end.
Early withdrawal fees may apply depending on the offer terms. Whether one applies to ours is on the fees page as soon as it is settled.
Shows‘Funds’ on the summary is what is actually available to withdraw — not ‘Balance’. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
ShowsWithdraw, then the amount, then submit. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
ShowsThe request under History → Requests until it is approved. NoteVantage's own demonstration account. The fee, minimum and interval printed on this screen are their sample values, not our terms — ours are on the fees page.
Being confirmed ·The route is confirmed from Vantage's guide, section 5. The end-to-end timetable, and whether an early-withdrawal fee applies to our offer, are being confirmed and are not stated here until they are.

04If something goes wrong
The six things that actually go wrong.
The portal will not let me log in
Two causes, in order of likelihood. You have not been approved into an offer yet — there is nothing to log in to before that. Or you are on the wrong host: the PAMM portal address depends on your MetaTrader server, and the wrong one fails exactly like a wrong password.
My server is not in the dropdown
Your PAMM Investor account is on the other platform. An MT4 investor account cannot join an MT5 master, and ours is MT5. Open a second PAMM Investor account on MT5 in the client portal — the mistake is not fixable on the account you already have.
My deposit was refunded without explanation
A join or deposit request that is not approved within 72 hours is refunded automatically by Vantage. Weekends are the usual reason — requests cannot be approved on Saturdays or Sundays and the clock runs anyway. Rejoining is treated as a second deposit, so it goes through the portal's Deposit button rather than the offer link.
I cannot see my balance in MT5 or the Vantage app
That is expected. Once you have joined a manager the balance shows only in the PAMM Investor Portal. A small difference between the two figures is currency conversion between the PAMM account and the trading account, not an error.
Identity documents rejected
Almost always a mismatch between the name or address on the document and the details entered at registration, or a proof of address older than the accepted window. Re-upload rather than re-register.
The fee shown at attachment differs from this site
Stop and ask before confirming. The offer panel on the join page is the binding version. Any difference is either an error here or a change we have not been told about, and both are worth resolving before your money moves.
05The source
Check this guide against the broker’s own.
Everything above about the mechanics — the 72-hour window, the rollover, the portal addresses, the way profit is distributed — comes from one document, published by Vantage. It is hosted here unmodified so you can read it yourself rather than take our account of it.
It is the broker’s document, not ours. It describes the platform generally and uses demonstration figures throughout. Our terms — the fee, the minimum, the rollover cadence — are on the fees page, and the binding version of them is the offer panel you see at step six.
